TALLAHASSEE | Florida’s high court heard arguments Tuesday on whether county charters can trump the Florida Constitution when it comes to term limits for county commissioners.
A ruling, which lawyers hope will come by the end of the month, could affect this year’s elections in Polk and other major Florida counties.
